01 / Our places
Paris at Celine’s pace.
Montmartre.
Celine comes up the steps in her carrier bag. At the top we look out over the city together.
Dog café Café George.
A café where dogs take centre stage. Here Celine met, among others, a dog in every colour of the rainbow. Watch the reel ↗
Le Bone Appart.
A shop and coffee bar for dogs, with leads, jumpers and treats.
Eating out.
The 10th arrondissement is a firm favourite for dinner as a three. Sushi, for example, with Celine beside us on the banquette. Watch the reel ↗ Sometimes the two of us dine at Le Jules Verne in the Eiffel Tower.
Croissants and terraces.
A croissant at the bakery, a spritz on a terrace: Celine joins in, on our lap or in her bag.
We had our own travel T-shirts made by Drukbaas.nl. Watch the reel ↗
02 / Paris Sausage Walk
A walk full of dachshunds.
Celine joined in.
In October 2026 we joined the Paris Sausage Walk with Celine, the dachshund walk in Paris. She wore her orange Laelaps lead and got plenty of attention along the way, including from the police.

Even the police wanted to say hello to Celine.

03 / Before you go
What to arrange before Paris with your dog.
- Ask each venue. Whether your dog is welcome inside varies by restaurant, café and shop. Ask when you book.
- Bring a carrier bag. On the steps of Montmartre, in crowds and at the table, a bag is handy for a small dog.
- Choose dog cafés. Café George and Le Bone Appart are set up for dogs.
- Events. Register in advance for the Paris Sausage Walk; check with the organisers for the date and conditions.
- Accommodation. Ask about the dog policy and any fee when you book.
