Dog beach on Lake Garda: Braccobaldo Beach with Celine
A sunbed all to herself, with the lake behind her.
In May 2026 we travelled for a week through Croatia, then a week and a half through Italy, including Venice and Lake Garda. We stayed near Sirmione and took Celine to Braccobaldo Beach, the dog beach in Peschiera del Garda. Our reel from that day became our most-watched video.

Braccobaldo Beach.
A beach in Peschiera del Garda where dogs are welcome. Celine had her own dog bed on the sunbed, with the lake and mountains behind her.
Nothing to do.
A nap in the sun, a spritz for us, and Celine calmly taking it all in. Exactly the day we needed after a week on the road.

Lake Garda was the second part of our trip: first a week in Croatia, then Venice and the lake. We stayed near Sirmione, not far from Peschiera del Garda.

First, a little Venice.
On the way to the lake we spent a day walking through Venice. Celine came along in her sling over the bridges, past the gondolas and across St Mark’s Square.

03 / Before you go
What to arrange before Lake Garda with your dog.
- Choose a dog beach. Not every beach on Lake Garda is open to dogs. Braccobaldo Beach in Peschiera del Garda is made for dogs.
- Prices in May 2026. Sunbed €8 per day, parasol €4 per day, dog bed free, SUP €10 per hour. Open daily from 9:30 to 19:00. We paid €20 in total for the day.
- Book in high season. Ask the beach about availability and the rules for your dog.
- Shade and water. Bring water and a bowl, and make sure there’s shade on hot days.
- Accommodation. Ask about the dog policy and any fee when you book.
- Combine. We combined the lake with Venice and a week in Croatia; with a small dog in a bag, that works well.
