01 / Our stay
Every detail. For her.
The room.
When we walked in, a bed was already waiting for Celine, with food and water bowls, a bag of treats and a chew toy. On the side table lay a card reading ‘Welkom Celine’.
The terrace.
Outside, Celine had her own spot: a dachshund-sized lounger under a parasol, and a chair with a cushion at the table. That is where we ate, too. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant itself; according to the hotel’s conditions they are welcome in the bar/bistro.
The surroundings.
Stiemerheide sits among the trees, with water and walking paths close to the hotel. Our drone film further down shows just how green it is.

From the air you see where the hotel lies: in the green heart of Belgian Limburg, with water and walking paths around the corner. We shot the drone film ourselves during our stay.

04 / Before you book
What to arrange before staying with your dog.
- Register your dog in advance. Mention your dog when you book and ask which rooms are suitable.
- Fee. We stayed in collaboration with the hotel, so we cannot quote a dog fee from our own experience. Ask about the amount for your own booking.
- Dining together. Celine joined us for meals on the terrace. According to the hotel’s 2024 conditions, dogs are welcome in the bar/bistro but not in the restaurant. Ask whether this still applies.
- What you may not need to pack. A bed and food and water bowls were ready for us. Ask whether that applies to your room too.
- Walks. From the hotel you are straight into the greenery. Bring water for the walk.
